1. Agreement and audience

These Terms govern use of the Android version of LumaPetal Puzzle (the “App”) offered through Google Play. Marble Comet LLC (“Marble Comet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes the App. By downloading or using the App, a user agrees to these Terms and applicable Google Play terms. If a user does not agree, the user should not use the App.

A person must be legally able to accept these Terms. If local law requires parent or guardian consent, the parent or guardian must review and accept them. Mandatory consumer rights remain in force.

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. An entered age under 13 cannot continue. The neutrally entered birth date is used transiently on-device to derive an age-treatment bucket and is then discarded. Missing, invalid, expired, or unknown classification also prevents network SDKs from starting.

2. Limited license

Subject to these Terms and Google Play rules, Marble Comet grants a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on compatible devices the user owns or controls.

Except where law expressly permits it, a user may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, interfere with security, circumvent access controls, or use the App or its services unlawfully.

3. Gameplay, local data, and availability

The App provides jigsaw puzzles, local progress, optional local reminders, user-selected photo puzzles, advertising for eligible free players, and an optional LumaPetal Lifetime Premium purchase. It does not provide a production account, cloud sync, online leaderboard, or remote analytics service. Profile labels remain on the device.

Features, puzzles, ads, compatibility, and content may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Updates may be required. LumaPetal disables Android app-data backup and device transfer, so local data is lost if app storage is cleared, the App is removed, or the device fails. A qualifying Google Play purchase entitlement may still be restored through Restore Purchases.

4. User-selected photos and sharing

Users retain ownership of photos they import and confirm that they have the rights and permissions needed to use and intentionally share them. Users must not use unlawful, infringing, abusive, exploitative, or privacy-violating content.

LumaPetal stores a cropped, re-encoded copy in app-private storage and does not upload it to Marble Comet, Google Mobile Ads, RevenueCat, or a LumaPetal server. Sharing is optional and uses the Android share sheet. A share can include the generated result card and a public LumaPetal product-page link; the selected destination may accept only part of the share, and its terms and privacy policy apply. Deleting an App-held copy cannot recall a copy already shared outside the App. LumaPetal disables Android app-data backup and device transfer.

5. Advertising and rewarded access

Free players may see a separated banner beneath the gameplay piece tray and an occasional interstitial at the natural break after a qualifying puzzle is completed and safely recorded. Replay, Start over, Resume, and Play again do not trigger interstitials. No unsolicited full-screen ad interrupts an active solve or Replay.

An optional rewarded ad grants only the reward described before it: one play of an eligible Premium puzzle or one bonus hint after the three free hints are spent. It does not create a purchase, subscription, or permanent entitlement. Advertising availability is not guaranteed, and an unavailable ad does not block ordinary free gameplay. When Premium access is active, LumaPetal prevents ad requests.

6. LumaPetal Lifetime Premium and purchases

LumaPetal Lifetime Premium (lumapetal_premium_lifetime) is a one-time, non-consumable Google Play in-app product. It is not a subscription and has no recurring charge. The current United States base price is USD $14.99. The final price and taxes Google Play displays before confirmation apply to the transaction.

Premium removes all ads and ad requests and unlocks every Journey step, all Premium puzzles, and the 300- and 500-piece options. Completion records, statistics, achievements, and Gallery items still reflect puzzles actually completed. The App uses RevenueCat to validate the transaction and maintain the premium entitlement. Restore Purchases checks the current Google Play account and may require a network connection.

Pending transactions do not unlock Premium until Google Play reports them as purchased. A refund, chargeback, or revocation may remove access. Payments, cancellations, and refunds follow Google Play rules and mandatory consumer law.

7. Acceptable use

Users may not tamper with scores, timers, ads, purchases, entitlements, content manifests, or security controls; submit fabricated or automated results; introduce malicious code or abusive traffic; impersonate another person; interfere with another person’s use of a service; or violate intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights.

8. Intellectual property and third-party services

The App, branding, software, original artwork, and sound are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Open-access or third-party materials remain subject to their licenses and attribution records.

The App may rely on Google Play, Google Mobile Ads and configured ad providers, RevenueCat, mail apps, Android sharing features, and external websites. Their availability, terms, and privacy practices are separate. LumaPetal disables Android app-data backup and device transfer. The Privacy Policy explains App information handling.

9. Feedback, suspension, and termination

Users may voluntarily send support requests or feedback. Unless separately agreed, Marble Comet may use feedback to improve the App without an obligation to adopt it or compensate the sender.

Marble Comet may limit or end access for serious misuse, fraud, security risk, legal requirements, or material breach, subject to law. A user may stop using and uninstall the App at any time.

10. Warranties and liability

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may contain defects or interrupted services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marble Comet disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marble Comet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the App. This does not exclude any right, warranty, liability, or remedy that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

11. Governing rules and changes

Applicable law governs these Terms. Mandatory consumer protections in the user’s place of residence continue to apply. A user may contact Marble Comet first to try to resolve a dispute informally; an unresolved matter may be brought before a court with jurisdiction. Material changes will receive a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice.
