How can I play?
Choose Falling to guide and rotate pieces on a 9 × 15 board, or Choose 3 to place a tray of fixed-direction pieces on an 8 × 8 board. Both placement styles are available in Story, Score Run, and Daily Memory.
Is the dog story different from the cat story?
Yes. Dog and Cat share the same 40-level puzzle campaign, but their chapter identities, memory titles, 49 story moments, art, actions, and endings are authored separately.
Do I need an account?
No. Memory Tails has no account or cloud-save system. Companion profiles, story progress, settings, achievements, Scrapbook memories, and local records stay in the app's private storage on this device.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings → Data → Reset all data. This removes local game progress and settings after confirmation. Uninstalling removes app-local data, subject to Apple, Google, or device backup behavior.
Does Daily Memory use a server?
No. Daily Memory is generated locally from the device calendar date.
Does the release contain ads?
The planned Android release may show a banner during gameplay and an optional rewarded ad that grants one Repair. A one-time Remove Ads purchase disables both formats while its entitlement is active. Production ads are not live yet. The iOS version is currently ad-free.
Which control and accessibility options are available?
You can use gestures or on-screen buttons, mirror the layout for left-handed play, confirm hard drops, choose four text sizes, enlarge targets, use high contrast or three colour-vision palettes, keep embossed block symbols visible, reduce motion, disable particles, flashing or shake, enable mono mix and companion captions, use spoken story narration, and adjust haptics.
